Inspired by the charming neighbourhood of Nob Hill in San Francisco, this lovely photoshoot was magically envisioned by Kate MacKenzie and executed by a dream team of Toronto vendors. The spread came into fruition using a unique fall colour concept of burnt oranges, gold and soft teal, while incorporating the quirks and touches of San Francisco.
A short backstory of this Nob Hill inspired photoshoot. In the late 19th century, this neighbourhood became an exclusive enclave of the country’s wealthiest and most affluent. The bride – whose family roots go back to this time – also comes from a mixed background, aspiring us to represent a real bride today. That is, coming from a diverse background while introducing new cultures and channeling different kinds of personalities. This was all beautifully captured by The Love Studio . Having said that, we all know that weddings can be overwhelming. We get lost in the “trend”, get caught up in what’s the “newest” and always wanting the “next best thing”. But we hope you are inspired by this spread, and that you remember to go back to your roots and dream up a day that wholly represents what you love and who you both are as soon-to-be husband and wife!
