FAQ

1.  How much in advance do you have to book with you for weddings and events?
The sooner you book, the better! Of course, we do our best to accommodate every one of our brides and weddings, but there is a possibility that we may be at our full capacity. Especially because almost all our 2020 weddings getting postponed to 2021, booking a florist should be one of your top priorities!

2. What is the best way to get in contact with you?
The best way to get in contact with us for weddings, events and collaborations is by filling out the contact section. For all other inquiries, please email us at info@delightfloraldesign.com. We always ensure prompt replies! 

3. Do you host workshops? 
Yes! We absolutely love hosting workshops in our studio space. We offer group workshops as well as private ones. Whether it’s for a bridal shower, bachelorette, birthday party, team-building activity or work event, DeLight’s got you covered. If you’d like to set up your own private workshop, please email us at info@delightfloraldesign.com

COVID-19 UPDATE: As York Region is in lockdown as well, we are currently closed for in-person workshops. We also always offer virtual workshops, which can be purchased on our website here. Or if you want to arrange a private virtual workshop for you, your friend or a group you can email us at info@delightfloraldesign.com with your information/needs and we will get back to you promptly.

4. Do you rent out your studio for private events that are not flower-related? 
Yes! We rent out our studio for workshops, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate events, dinner parties, birthdays, photoshoots, and so much more! We have even held wedding ceremonies in our studio – it is the perfect space for an intimate, tasteful and safe wedding ceremony. Please email us at info@delightfloraldesign.com for any inquiries. 

5. What is your refund policy with retail items?
All fresh and dried flowers are final sale. 

6. When do the flower deliveries take place during the day?
Regular orders are normally delivered between 12:00 pm to 6:00 pmOur couriers operate under a strict delivery window and we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time within the given window of 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. If you require a special timed delivery, please email us with your order at info@delightfloraldesign.com. There may be an additional fee to arrange a special courier for you.  

7. Can I place an order for pick-up at your studio? 
Yes! When you place your online order, select the “Store Pick Up” option. Once you selected this option, please email us to arrange a pick up time and date as we do not have set store hours, it is mainly by appointment only.

8. What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t home at the time of the delivery, our couriers can leave the order either at the front door or with the concierge/reception. However, if the concierge/reception does not accept packages (due to Covid-19 safety measures), our courier must take the order back and you will have to arrange a pick-up or arrange another delivery (additional charges will apply).
